Gaps in your schedule?
Castlemont Community Agreement
Always be productive. Be accountable for your own learning and honor others’ opportunity to learn.
When class is in session, the courtyard, parking lot, gardens, and other common areas should be empty. A pass is required to be out of class for any reason.
Expectations during schedule gaps
What should you be doing?
Perform Community Service
- Provide in class support to a teacher or administrator.
- You need a teacher’s approval.
- This is a class that will appear on your schedule and require regular attendance.
- You will receive a grade that will appear on your transcript.
Visit the College Readiness Lab
The lab is open periods 3-8. Show your class schedule to the Care Manager on duty.
- Work on class assignments.
- Conduct research for your senior project.
- Explore colleges and universities.
- Begin completing your college admissions checklist.
- Explore internship and employment opportunities with your Work Based Learning Coordinator, Ms. Sheree West
Visit the Future Center

- Meet with the college access team to discuss your options after high school.
- Get assistance with college & scholarship applications.
