School Site Council

What is the School Site Council?

A School Site Council (SSC) is the representative body tasked with developing, monitoring, and approving the school’s strategic site plan (SPSA) and all related categorical expenditures. The SSC is the key deliberative body for the allocation of Title I funds and other resources to improve academic outcomes for all students and should be representative of the school community.  The SSC includes the site principal, teachers, parents and community members, other site staff, and students.  SSC meetings are open to the public, so all are welcome.

When does the SSC meet?

The Castlemont SSC meets on the last Tuesday of each month from 5:30 - 7:30pm via Zoom.
